The Facility

The Gimli and District Recreation Centre has all the features that makes it one of the finest recreation centres in Manitoba. It has one of the world's most sophisticated refrigeration and heat recovery systems. Regulation size hockey arena 85' x 200', fast jet ice, controlled comfortable temperature, modern dressing rooms and showers. 5 sheet curling rink, with modern locker-rooms, showers, sauna and beautiful upstairs viewing. The people of Gimli have every reason to be proud of their recreation facilities. Their dedicated and hard work has resulted with these events being hosted at Gimli and The Gimli District Recreation Centre.
